
WEEK THIRTY: Shelving & Electrical Equipment
Shelving Kitchen built-ins stained and installed. Electrical Cont.'d Equipment purchased includes electrical panel, switches, light fixtures, power outlets and stereo system. Wiring, batteries, and solar system on hold until I meet with the installer. The 110V AC system will be limited to the fridge, water heater, and several power outlets while everything else will run directly off of the 12V DC battery supply. WEEK TWENTY-NINE: Flooring & RV Electrical Systems
Flooring LVT flooring inlay cut and assembled in preparation for future install. I was surprised to find that after scoring the plank deep enough I could bend the tile until it gave and peeled apart. Flooring will be one of the last things to go in and Mannington recommends a minimum temperature of 65°F/maximum of 100°F. Current goal for completion is June so this coincides well. WEEK TWENTY-EIGHT: Dinette Table
Dinette Table This week was spent refurbishing the dining table. Instead of rebuilding it entirely I removed the damaged veneer on the underside and laminated the top with the 1/32" Okoume (the existing formica top was so well adhered that removing it wouldn't have been worth the effort). The pattern incorporates the repeated diamond geometry and this was drawn directly onto the table so that patterns could be cut using trace paper. All wood cuts achieved with a simple blade
